Van Der Valk Hotel Spa

Popular and ideal hotel, the services were good, MAGNIFICENT location in the cable car to the Spa. The staff was outstandingly friendly and competent, offered us wake up calls and ironing free of charge. We have spent 4 days in standard room with forest view and soothing decoration, everything was very good.

luxury place with excellent staff at the reception desk, really enjoyed it. the location was absolutely perfect and good, adjacent to the very centre, wallonia, and the funicular up to the thermes and breakfast, and the private parking was an excellent bonus. furthermore, in the neighbourhood of les thermes de spa.

It was in a great and top location with pleasant views over garden. The room was recently refurbished & large.

The room could be bigger.

Great location for the spa. Nice rooms. Very good breakfast. Frendly staff. If there is available space, you can park for free outside of the hotel (no need to pay €16/day).

Rather crowed on saturdays and during sunday morning breakfast. Special teleferik to the spa for hotel's customers didn't function that day, something rather inconvenient due to rainy and cold weather. Cleaning of the room during staying could be better.

The terace of hotel's restaurant was nice. Direct communication with spa Thermes is also convenient.

We wanted to have a drink at the hotel restaurant terace before dinner in a restaurant in town, but it was not possible, as all was reserved for eating. For the check out on Sunday noon there was a line of people waiting. Generally the hotel is too expensive for its comfort. It is old, corridors are stinky, decoration is from the 70ties. You even have to pay for the one time use slippers, which normally you find in your hotel room for free. You have to wait for a long time for the elevator, especially if the hotel is full.
